Carla Rameri Alexandre Silva de Azevedo is a professor and researcher in the stricto sensu graduation program in palliative care. Coordinator of clinical research at the high complexity oncology center CACON IMIP. The former member of the technical chamber of Medical Regional Counsil – Pernambuco State. Member of the committee of gynecological tumors of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology (SBOC), general secretary of SBOC - Northeast regional and member of the director of the Brazilian Group of gynecological tumors - EVA. Member of the Latin American Group of Cooperative Oncology (LACOG), ASCO and ESMO. Preceptor of the medical residency in oncology at IMIP and boarding school of the FPS medical course. She also works as a medical oncologist in Recife at Clínica NeOH / Oncologia D´Ór, at Instituto de Medicina Integral Fernando Figueira (IMIP) and at the Public Server State Hospital of Pernambuco. Her areas of interest are gynecological and thoracic tumors. Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2003) and specialization in Clinical Medicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).
